IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Tampa, FL)

Fernwood Nest Community Partners is a nonprofit in Tampa supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
