IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Meadow Manufacturing Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
