IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Quill Facilities looks after properties across the San Antonio region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
