IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (San Antonio, TX)

Silverline Amber Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for San Antonio and nearby communities. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
