IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (San Antonio, TX)

Westbrook Lakeside Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in San Antonio with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
