IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Salt Lake City, UT)

Lumen Mill Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
