IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Rochester, NY)

Greenridge Birch Environmental Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
