IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Rochester, NY)

Westbrook Stone Energy is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
