IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Lantern Construction Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
