IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Richmond, VA)

Rivermark Bright Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Richmond area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
