IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Richmond, VA)

Summit Yarrow Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Richmond. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 186 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
