IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Bright Keystone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Austin. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
