IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Fernwood Bright Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around New Orleans. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
