IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Nova Loom Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Buffalo region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with temp assignments. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
