IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Stonegate Cedar Banking Services is a regional lender in San Jose with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with card disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
