IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Fernwood Wren Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Baltimore, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with group events. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
