IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Granite Markets and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
