IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Bluepeak Mill Energy is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
