IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Fernwood Field Markets Partners operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Omaha. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
