IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Harborlight Amber Learning Group is an education provider in Pittsburgh serving students and families. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 625 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
