IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Summit Ivory Foods is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 96 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
