IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Bluepeak Rook Markets Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 94 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
