IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Fernwood Junction Construction Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
