IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Cedar Forge Health Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
