IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Stonegate Sparrow Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Virginia Beach focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
