IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Amberfield Quarry Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
