IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Summit Fern Freight is a Spokane logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
