IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Foxglove Maple Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Salt Lake City and nearby communities, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
