IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Northwind Vista Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Dallas area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
