IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Summit Juniper Legal Group provides legal services in Houston across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
