IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Summit Oak Energy is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
