IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Cedar Maple Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Austin and nearby communities. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
