IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Meadow Manufacturing Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
