IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Foxglove Birch Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the San Antonio area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
