IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Northwind Kestrel Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
