IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Harborlight Summit Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Minneapolis region, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
