IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Forge Freight and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
