IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Rivermark Quarry Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Houston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
