IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Nova Fern Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Sacramento, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
