IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Summit Corner Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Albuquerque and nearby communities. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
