IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Birch Freight Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
