IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Rivermark Rook Manufacturing Partners is a Reno manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 968 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
