IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Corner Insurance and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 235 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
