IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Pine Financial Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
