IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Sable Construction and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 385 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
