IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Lumen Bright Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 834 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
