IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Cedar Fox Construction is a Fresno contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
