IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Cedar Wren Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Columbus with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
