IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Rowan Foods and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
