IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Lakeside Freight and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
